The 214-page book (ISBN 978-1518727344) written by Cindy C. Murray, continues with a new mystery in The Adventures of Sophie and Scottie Series; an ongoing adventure from the award winning series debut, Sophie and Scottie’s Adventures of the Monarch Mystery.

“I’m looking forward to having my middle grade readers ages 8 to 12 learn about Sophie and Scottie’s next adventures!” Murray announced. “In this third book, the sisters once again walk through their magical frame after their dog Molly accidentally runs through it first! The girls must figure out if Molly can stay in their new adventure, which takes them to North America and stay at the Colossal Candy Castle, where Sam McSweet (an amazing candy maker) tells them about the current world sugar shortage. Scottie then soon notices that a bald eagle keeps on watching them and a huge grizzly bear crosses their path!”

Murray mentions that not all is calm at the castle and the brave sisters must use their teamwork and curious nature along with their trusty map to solve this sweet mystery, knowing that this third adventure will keep junior readers turning the page until the very end of this book.
