“SOPHIE AND SCOTTIE’S ADVENTURES OF SOMETHING’S FISHY ” DEBUTS
Second Book in the Sophie and Scottie Series

SAN DIEGO, May 18, 2015—Kandon Publishing, helping authors share their unique messages through the practice of partnered publishing, announced today that the second book in the Sophie and Scottie series, Sophie and Scottie’s Adventures of Something’s Fishy, is now available on Amazon.com as a paperback and eBook. The 200-page book (ISBN 978-0991290574), written by Cindy C. Murray, unveils a new mystery for the series’ namesakes, who were introduced in the award-winning series debut, Sophie and Scottie’s Adventures of the Monarch Mystery.

“Sophie and Scottie’s next adventures are just beginning and I’m happy to share them with my junior readers,” Murray said. “In this second book, their magical frame reveals a mysterious island for the sisters to explore on horseback. Teamwork and trust are a must on this amazing journey for the girls, where a dolphin constantly blows bubbles and has an otter for its best friend.”

Murray notes that readers will discover along with Sophie and Scottie that all is not as it seems on the island; something suspicious is going on. She’s confident this fun and adventurous story will keep them riveted, as the curious sisters work together to solve the “fishy” mystery.

“We are pleased to see the popularity of the Sophie and Scottie series continuing to grow,” says Kathryn Cloward, CEO of Kandon Publishing. “Cindy’s first book has attracted many juvenile readers and they have been anxiously awaiting the release of Something’s Fishy.”

While Murray writes in a way that allows each book to stand on its own, readers of Sophie and Scotties’ Adventures of Something’s Fishy will certainly benefit from knowing some of the key details shared in Sophie and Scottie’s Adventures of the Monarch Mystery. As the girls once again use their trusty map, decision-making skills, and great team work, all with a dash of science, to help solve the island’s “fishy” mystery.  With this second book in the series available right before summer, Murray is confident that both books will make great additions to summer reading programs.
