Nice Catch on the Grill!


  • 1 to 2 pounds Mahi-mahi or other firm-fleshed fish cut in large enough pieces to serve one piece per person.
  • Extra Virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • salt and pepper
  • melted butter and lemon wedges


  1. Thaw the fish if frozen.
  2. Cover each piece of fish on each side with extra virgin olive oil.
  3. Season each side of the fish with salt and pepper.
  4. Grate about a teaspoon of lemon zest on one side of each piece of fish.
  5. Grill on medium heat (with pre-oiled grates) on each side of fish for about 4 minutes and the fish is firm.
  6. May serve with melted butter and a lemon wedge.
