This is Bella from my chapter book Sophie and Scottie’s Adventures of the Monarch Mystery. Bella is one of the first creatures that Sophie and Scottie encounter when their magical crystal frame acts as a portal to distant lands by growing in their bedroom! In fact, Bella is covered in tiny crystals herself as she floats onto Sophie’s shoulder, slowly opening and closing her wings. Bella then flutters from her shoulder, floats around the room, and goes back out towards the scene in the picture that has now turned real and is the starting point of Sophie and Scottie’s adventure.
