Talking with Brian Selznick

I had the pleasure of meeting N.Y. Times Best Selling Author, Brian Selznick, for his Caldecott Award winning book The Invention of Hugo Cabret at the 50th Annual San Diego Public Library Local Author Exhibit and Reception. His book was also made into an Oscar winning movie by Martin Scorsese called “Hugo.” This San Diego Library Exhibit will feature my book, Sophie and Scottie’s Adventures of Something’s Fishy, on display through March 2016 and in their on-line exhibit for this entire year. It was great chatting with Brian about Sophie and Scottie’s age as well as character traits of being smart, brave, curious, and decision makers. It was a very nice evening and Brian now has heard of The Adventures of Sophie and Scottie.
